Gabriel Athanasiou is a film director who has studied at the New York Film Academy and at the School of Fine Arts, Film Department at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Based in London, he is currently developing his feature film debut.
Athanasiou's short films have traveled the world and have won awards at international film festivals. His film "Astoria" was nominated for a Greek Film Academy Award in 2022, and he has been selected as a member of Berlinale Talents 2023. With his impressive educational background and numerous accolades, Athanasiou wishes to be a rising talent in the film industry.
